The Champions Club
Jacksonville, Florida
Designed by PGA pro Steve Melnyk and Bob Walker, the Champions Club at Julington Creek offers a retreat to traditional designs of the past. With rolling burmuda grass fairways wrapped around sparkling lakes and dense woods, the Championship Club offers a challenging but playable experience for the advanced and average golfer. The signature hole is #17 a 222-yard, par 3. With the convenient practice area that includes a driving range, putting green and practice bunkers the Championship Club gives you the ability to sharpen your game before and after your 18 holes. Since the opening in 1992, the Champions Club has hosted the Hooters Tour Jacksonville Open from 1996 to 1998 and the World Junior Championship Finals in 1997.
The goal of the Champions Club is to deliver quality golf to the public without sacrificing high standards and gracious amenities. Personable service is extended your way from the stop at the pro shop before your round and continuing until you hit the warm and friendly lounge and grill after 18. Being rated as Florida’s 100 best courses by Florida Magazine, the Championship Club will keep you coming back with its high standards and remarkable playing conditions.
