Golf lovers take note! You can get a twofer next summer when the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum will take the 2015 Induction Ceremony to St. Andrews, Scotland days before the start of The Open Championship. The ceremony will be held on Monday, July 13 at the University of St. Andrews which is within walking distance of the Old Course.

It’s fitting that the ceremony will be held at the University of St. Andrews. It is an institution that has recognized a number of Hall of Fame members including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player.  Each was awarded honorary Doctor of Law degrees for their achievements and their contributions to the sport of golf. The Class of 2015 will be introduced later this year.

The move to St. Andrews marks the first time the event has been held in Scotland. It will return to the World Golf Village in 2017 and will be held on Monday prior to THE PLAYERS Championship. In 2019 it will move to Pebble Beach prior to the U.S. Open Championship.
