A second shot golf course, wide landing areas allow for findable fairways but contours in the green complexes make any approach difficult to get the ball close to the hole
Strategize around the dogleg. With multiple holes with tree-lined doglegs, players must plan ahead to have the best opportunity to make birdies.

HPGC, located at the southern end of Palm Coast, is a club that you can plan your whole day around. Arrive before your tee time and check out the Pub for lunch before your afternoon tee time. Or plan to stick around at the 19th hole after your round! The golf course was designed by Bill Amick in 1993 and has gone through some wonderful upgrades in recent years. Highlighted by the fast and fun Bermudagrass greens that were put in summer of 2021. Plan ahead and warm-up on the all-grass driving range before play and enjoy 18 holes of golf winding through the Halifax Plantation neighborhood. Tree-lined fairways and only a couple water hazards give golfer the advantage off the tee but challenge all skill levels around the greens. The club is only a couple miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and on the way to everything...less than a mile from I-95. For those looking to enjoy dinner at the club, the Tavern & Pub offers two separate dining experiences. The Tavern offers a quieter, sit-down atmosphere with a lovely menu.
