THE PLAYERS Stadium Course
THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass was designed by the acclaimed Pete Dye and built in 1982 to host THE PLAYERS Championship and become the competition's permanent home. As the first real "Stadium Course," the design was meant to improve the overall fan experience and lend no favor to any single kind of player or style of golf. Now an incredibly well-known course, praised for its balance and famous 17th hole, golfers from all over the world are welcome to play a match. Players will find a selection of short, medium, and long holes within the par-3, par-4, and par-5 categories. The course is also laid out so that no two consecutive holes play in the same direction. The 17th hole is one of the most honored with its signature island green capturing golf fans' attention worldwide. To learn more about visiting The Stadium course, click here.
