Overview
From the minds of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer - These two PGA TOUR legends have come together for the first time ever to design a course.
Opening in November 2000 the King & Bear is a one of kind co-design from two golf legends, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Set in World Golf Village amongst loblolly pines and bordered by lakes with large coquina rocks this track offers a unique golfing experience. Most recently the club hosted the Korn Ferry Tour's King & Bear Classic in June 2020. The championship course has also frequently been on Golf Advisors Golfers' Choice: Best of Florida golf courses. In 2021 King & Bear was rewarded as a distinguished golf destination and the clubhouse restaurant AJ's Kitchen & Cocktails was honored by Golf Inc. with the Golden Fork Award for best new amenity.
